Level one attachments!

Sean McGrath

I keep receiving emails from microsoft stating that there are new updates
for my PC. The problem is that the atttached files (updates) are level one
security and therefore are removed by Outlook. When I visit the microsoft
update page and scan for new updates there are none.

Anyone else have this problem? Can anyone help?
Thanks in advance.

You must be really pleased with the blocking of level 1 attachments after
you hear that those are actually virusses!

It's the SWEN virus that has been going around for over 1½ month already.

Just a tip: don't post with your real address in newsgroups or you'll never
get rid of those virusmails. Use a fake one or munge it like mine.

Thanks for the tip but how do I change mt address when posting on here?
Probably a silly question!

Thanks

I see you are using Outlook Express as your newsreader.

Rightclick on the msnews.microsoft.com tree and choose Properties. Here you
can change your address.

Not a silly question, you just couldn't find where to look ;-)
