Linking from end date of summary task.

Is it possible to link to a sub task (completion of the task) and link
backwards within this task to arrive at a start date for the task? I am
linking to an external project and want the external milestone date to be the
completion date of the task in my project. I then want to schedule backwards
in my project to the start date of the task.

Hi,

If I understand you well, you are describing a perfect circular relationship
B waits for A to finish, then A waits for B to start.
Impossible, by all means: there is no solution to that.
Should you atrrive to make that construction in Poject, there will be no
more calculations within those files untiil you undo the impossibility.
