My task linking appears to have stopped working how I would expect it to (and
how it used to).
To create a basic finish-start dependency between two tasks, let's say of 5
days effort and duration each, I highlight them and then click 'link tasks'.
I would expect this to show the first task starting today and then the second
task to start 5 days later - however, whilst the link has been created, both
tasks show as starting today.
I have checked that it has been set up as a finish-start date and the only
constraint is 'start asap'
Is there some other setting that I am missing that will prevent the
dependency from being created properly?
