Lost File

I have accidently saved over a publisher file and lost all my work. I am
aware that I have temp files that may have the data in it but I cannot access
any of them. I get an error message saying it is locked or in use by another
person but they are not.

Can anyone help

Temporary files are generally released following your
closing the Publisher program. Unless you regularly perform
a back up to an external drive you are out of luck.

Try taking a copy of the temporary files in another folder and renaming them
to .pub.
