I am running Windows XP Home Edition. Currently using
outlook (part of the Office 2000 package) for email,
appts, callendar etc. For approx one week, while sending
or receiving email through outlook, it keeps trying to
reinstall itself. It requests that I insert the CD Rom
(which I do not have available at home) and go through
install process again. I have been using this software
with XP for approx three months and this is the first
time I have experience reinstall prompt. If I cancel the
install options it eventually stops trying to reinstall
and I am able to use Outlook. This happens each time I
send or rec email regardless how many times I cancel the
install options. Is this a configuration problem or do I
have to get the cd rom and go through the install process?
