Microsoft Office will not let me activate on line

W

Woodcarver

I'm a neophyte. I can't get a newly purchased copy of Microsoft Office to
let me activate the program. Will this keep me from using the product? I
have Microsoft Windows XP. I need to use the word processor and Excel to
complete club news-letters.

Eventually it will only act as a viewer. And that will undoubtedly happen
when you need it most. You *must* activate it. If you're having problems,
then you need to post what those problems are.

Thank you. What happens is that every time I reach the point where I think
it will work I get a message that says something like "unable to activate,
try again". I wonder if I stop payment on my purchase and send Microsoft a
note saying "Unable to pay, try again" if they would like it.......hee hee...
