Microsoft Outlook 2002 "Revise Contents"

After filling out a new form or discussion I save it and
then when I try to go back into it I have to "revise
contents" to be able to make any kind of changes and it
used to be that I did not have to. Is there a setting I
can change to stop this from happening?
