When I have a file open and change the start date, it will show it moved over
to that start date for example April 9 (on my timeline) but when I go to view
it, it shows it as my original strtd date like say March 19 and prints it
that way. I need to know how to have it print from the new start date or
move it, which I did move but still shows old date. I hope this makes some
since, I am totally confused

Hi Lori,

A couple of questions:
What version of Project are you using?
When you say you changed the start date, did you change the start date
of the entire project through Project > Project Information or did you
change the start date of a single task?
If you changed the start date of a single task, I assume you typed in a
start date?
When you say you "view it" and it isn't correct, I assume you mean that
the bar on the Gantt chart hasn't moved?
Have you saved a baseline?
Have you entered tracking data like Actual starts?

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.
