My mouse wont click in word documents

Out of nowhere my mouse started acting up and will no longer allow my to
right or left click in word documents. It works fine for everything else, but
word documents it refuses to allow me to click on the document.

Bizarre! can anyone help?

Thank you thank you thank you! I was having this same issue. Removing and
reinstalling Office 2007 did not fix it, and I was getting desperate. I
searched MS's website, but did not see this tool. It is too well hidden.
Thank you so much for responding to the origonal posters question. You saved
my weekend!
