My Publisher Files are Too Large

When I do a mail merge in a Publisher file and print to
a .pdf the resulting file becomes way too large.
Similarly, when I take a file to Kinko's to print on
their computer (no .pdf involved) the file is so large
that they can only print a few at a time.

This may be because a separate set of pages is printed for each datum that
you are merging. So if you have a 40-page document, merged with 200 names,
you will get 8000 pages printed to PDF.
What version of Windows and Publisher are you using?
