Name of the employee and his role - how to work with both fields

I have one problem.
I want to have an information about the name of the worker and his role. As
the name of the "source" I can choose either the name or his role. I know
that it is possible to set name of the source as e.g. "John Smith - Analyst".
BUT, when I am sending the summary to the customer, it is not disarable he
can see the name of "sources". I want to give him just an information about
the role that is working on a specific task.
Is it possible to set the source in way that when I am making a report, I
have a possibility to choose his name or his role?

The only way you can prevent someone else from seeing information in a
Project file is to provide them with a hard copy (or HTML). If you
provide the actual Project file to your customer, they can always view
any field.

I suppose you could employ some type of code and hope the customer can't
decipher it but that is iffy.
