Need to reinstall UPGRADE version Access 2002 on new computer w/o

Old system, an original Windows 98 OS and Office Professional version had
been upgraded to Windows XP. I purchased and installed Access 2002 many
years ago. That system has crashed and been replaced with a refurbished
laptop, with preinstalled MS Office XP without Access
I tried in reinstall the Upgrade version, but it can't because it can't find
a qualifying previous version.

How do I get this reinstalled. Original disk for the Win98 versions from
1999 are long gone.

It's not looking for qualifying Windows version it's looking for the
qualifying Office version. Do you have the disks for that? You can place
the first CD in the drive and have it look at it without having to install
it.
