need to shorten up document so I don't go to next page

I have a rental agreement that I have added text to and now i cannot get it
all on 2 pages as I don't know how to remove some of the spacing between
sections so that I can shorten it up enough to get it on 2 pages. It is a
read only document in word and I am able to add text but not sure how to
remove some of the spacing .

If it is a read only document then you cannot do anything, end of story.

If you could edit it you just have to delete line feeds that are surplus.

But to get good answers you should ask in a WORD newsgroup because here most
people have expertise in MS Publisher, a very different program.
