Networked templates

Is there any simple and effiective way of having a
cetralised template folder on a network and have all
clients computers MS office programs look in that folder
when the user click "FILE" "NEW".
Is there an option in office itself or do you have to set
it up through each program? i.e Excel, word and Publisher.

Hi, Brian,

It's set in each application (and I'm not sure they all support it). Word
does, for sure:

Tools | Options | File Locations
Set the value for "Workgroup templates" to your network share.

Is there a way to have Word configured automatically when a new user
logs on to a computer.
All I need is to auto set the startup folder location then the startup
template can do the rest, is this possible?
