Problem Description: I use Microsoft FrontPage to
maintain my High School classes website on a regular
basis. Last time I updated my website, was approximately
a week ago. I never had any problem with it before, I was
able to update my files and publish to the web. I tried
to update my webite the other day and as soon as
FrontPage came up, it notified me that it couldn't find
the last file I had worked on. I thought this strange
since I hadn't changed anything like the location of the
files or anything. The message it came back to me with
was that it couldn't find the files in (a VERY LONG
directory name..."C:...\owner\..."). When I looked at
that directory, I noticed that the "My Webs" directory
was missing from that directory, so I recreated the
directory C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My
Webs\<all my web files>,
I copied the docs from my website and checked to make
sure I had all the file folders correct. I noticed when I
had created the "My Webs" directory, I didn't notice the
globe icon over the folder (as the music and pictures
folder has it). In any event, after doing that, I went
into Frontpage, saw that all my files were there and
updated them. When I went to publish them to my website,
though, the option to Publish to the Web was greyed out.
Can you help me please?
