No rebuild option offered

I make sure Caps Lock is off, hold Option, and open Entourage. It simply
starts as normal. I've tried loads of other combinations. Anyone know why
this happens?

Are you holding down the option key for long enough?

No. Thanks! But I get a message that I must quit all other MS applications
.... and this occurs even when I boot in safe mode. I'm going to post a
separate message about this.
