Office 2000 single/multi use applications

I have Office 2000 installed on XP professional. When I
open word file from Explorer while having Word running
already, it will run another instance. So I can run more
than 2 Word at the same time. However, do the same thing
for Excel, it opens the file in the instance already
running. If I run Excel twice and open files in each
Excel, I can run 2 Excel. Is there any way I can change
Excel to run another instance when opening a file from
Explorer?

thank you for your reply. Is that for Excel? I don't
see the menu or tab Other in Customize. Also, it seems
that your answer is to display worksheets in individual
windows in one Excel instance...I don't think my question
was clear. I want to run new Excel instance each time
when opening Excel file from Explorer or when open Excel
attachment from Outlook.
