The outlook.pst file is where Outlook (not Express) stores all of its
files - calendar, tasks, contacts, mail, etc. You will need to enable
searching hidden/system files and search for it - once found, copy it to the
new location. Once you have copied it, use File->open in Outlook to access
the file.

You can also delete the new .pst file created by default in the new Outlook
installation and when you next open Outlook, point it to your saved .pst
file (probably My Documents is best for the file to be copied to) and
Outlook will happily use your old file with all of its items intact.
