Office 2007 updates

I tried the Office 2007 trial software for Home & Student but decided to stay
with Office 2003 for now so I uninstalled the 2007 product.
I have Windows Live Onecare on my computer and everyday it says I have a
critical update to install but it is for Office 2007.
How do I fix this so I am not offered updates for a program no longer on my
computer?
If you could reply to (e-mail address removed) it would be appreciated as I have
trouble finding answers on this site.
Thanks

I'm myself using Office 2003 even though my company and I personally have
licenses to use Office 2007. Office 2007 didn't turn me on at all, for
various reasons which I won't go into. The underlying theme of my decision
to stay with 2003 against ever mounting pressure to "upgrade" is something
along the lines of if it ain't broke, don't fix it.

Anyway, I also get offered updates for Office 2007 on my various machines,
but on those machines I have the Office 2007 compatibility pack installed
and also on one of the systems other various outlier items such as MS Office
Live Meeting 2007. I figure that MS Update knows what to check for and only
offers relevant updates. I reckon you might be able to save some wory just
by installing the suggested updates and moving on.

If there's any kind of error during the update installations then that's a
bridge you can cross when/if you come to it.

Regards,
Wayne.
