Office Activation

My copy of Office never asked if I wanted to activate when I installed it.
Now it whent into "Reduced Functionality Mode" and when I click "help >
activate product" nothing happens. I don't get any info on how to activate.
I've seen many postings here with an answer of "call the activation number."
I would call, but my Office product won't tell me it. Anyone know the number
or know how I can activate and use my expensive program again?

Thanks.

People from all over the world come here to post questions. The
activation phone number is different in each country. You have
given no indication as to what country you are in. You also have
given no indication as to what version of Office you have. Two
wild guesses in the vast emptiness that you call a question:
1. If you have a full or upgrade version of Office 2003, then
see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823527 "Activation Wizard
does not start in Office 2003".
2. If you have a trial version of Office 2003, then see
http://www.microsoft.com/office/trial/convert.mspx .

Thanks for the back-handed answer. I believe it may have answered my
question. I'll have to go home and give it a try. Sorry I didn't know I had
to inclue my life story with my question... I may try to not be so "empty"
next time.

Think of posting in a public newsgroup like talking to a new doctor. You
can't just say "I don't feel well." You need to tell us as much as you think
could apply. I think it's better to give too much information than not
enough.

Good luck with getting your programs activated.
