ORIENTATION OF MENU BAR

while working in word the menu bar appears vertically on the left side of
screen. i would want it to appear horizontally on top of the window. how can
hange the oientation

Select the bar by its handle (the row of dots or double bar at the top) and
drag it into the center of the screen. This should make it change its
orientation to horizontal. Then drag it to the top of the screen.
