outlook 2002 tasks

I have some tasks that show when task is due (shows up in yellow) and others
that do not have the yellow bar.

When I double click the task another window comes up and it has in yellow
when the task is due. How come some of the tasks do not have the yellow bar
with the due date on them?

I'm not following you...where are these tasks when you're clicking on them,
in the regular Tasks folder or somewhere else? Where exactly does this
yellow bar appear?

Are you talking about the Infobar -- the bar that appears under the "Task"
and "Details" tabs on the Task form? (Mine's not yellow, BTW...but then
again I'm using Outlook 2003. Still, I think the colors will depend on the
user's Windows color scheme.)

As far as I can tell, the Infobar only shows up under the following
conditions:

1) When a task is recurring (recurrence info shows)

and/or

2) When a task has a due date that falls within the next 14 days or is in
the past.
