Compaq notebook with Windows XP Pro., Office 97. Trying to run Outlook 2002
which came with Ipaq rx3115. Installed Outlook 2002 and it initially worked
very well. Synced with ipaq very nicely several times. Transferred folders
from Outlook Express fine. Sent and received several times. Then locked up
when tried to view an email. Reinstalled and it wouldn't work. Un installed
it, reboot, reinstalled, worked fine for a little while, then locked up when
I tried to view an email, closed it, rebooted, reopened, still locked up.
Uninstalled it, rebooted, reinstalled it, worked a little while, locked up
when I tried to view email...repeated above steps several times..... Now
it's not available to install from disk. Goes through installation process
but doesn't show up anywhere to be used. Too many installations???
1. What's the lock up problem associated with? Office 97 w/ XP Pro
operating system? Too old? (office 97, not me ! )
2. How do I make it available to install again? Buy another Ipaq?
3. How do I get myself into these messes? (Am I just too tight to buy the
latest and greatest)(Do I ask for too many miracles)
