My aunt cannot get her attachments to come up. When you
click on the paper clip the file menu comes up. The
problem is that when you click on the file itself, it
will not open. What should I do.
Thanks for your time.

Does the attachment line say "OE removed access to the
folloing unsafe attachments in your mail: <filename.typ>"?

I am having a problem with receiving Excel 5.0 files from
my wife. OE 6.0 wont let me receive them :-(, I am stuck
on what to do. Does anyone know how to reduce protection
limits in OE 6.0?

Please do not hijack someone else's thread. Repost to a newsgroup for
Outlook Express. This newsgroup is for Outlook. Outlook and Outlook
Express are NOT the same product nor are they derivatives or siblings of
each other. Do a search in the newsgroups available on your news
server(s) on "express" to see if they carry any newsgroups related to
Outlook Express. If not, use the news.microsoft.com news server (which
is recommended anyway for posts regarding their products).

Is the problem that she cannot access the attachment to save it? Or is
the problem that she has saved the file and then cannot open it? What
is the filename extension of the saved file? Where is she saving it?
What operating system are you using? What version of Outlook?
