Outlook not responding when launched, why, how do I fix it?

Ardee Mac

More than 75 percent of the time when I launch Outlook for my email it comes
up and then freezes, then an error message that says "program not responding"
and I have to end the program. Later when I launch Outlook it asks to come
up in "safe mode". Is there a fix to this problem or do I have to reinstall
Office Outlook,? I have the 2003 version.

Ardee Mac,
Choose Detect & Repair from the Help drop down menu. You should have your
installation CD handy.

Thank you I will try that but may wait until I have some help as I have Quest
DSL along with Internet Explorer 7 and Outlook Express which can confuse me a
lot a times when I have problems. Thanks for the information, I'll take a
look at it.

IE7 & OE have nothing to do with outlook, niether does your DSL other than
in the account settings.

I'm having the same issue that Ardee Mac is having but in addition if I'm on
the internet when I start OE 6 it knocks down my dialup connection. I can't
find Detect and Repair in the Help pull down menu. I have OE 6.00.2900.2180
(xpsp_sp_2)

Am I looking the the wrong place? I'd reinstall it if I could figure out
how. I've my MS Office 2003 Pro D/R to no benefit.

Any ideas?

Thanks for the help,

Kim

OE6 & other versions are a completly different application to Outlook
OE is part of Internet Explorer and the support groups are under that
heading
