Outlook--Trouble opening files

I had my computer worked on by an authorized dealer of HP
and asked them to back up my outlook folders as they had
business information on them. Now I cannot open these
files on the system. Help!!

What version of Outlook? Have you tried calling them and asking them to
restore the files?
