MS Outlook (installed with office 2000 on a windows 98
machine) will no longer run on my computer. a week or two
ago, computer was on, outlook was running and power
flickered out, computer rebooted, but outlook has not
loaded since then. when i hit ctl-alt-delete , it shows me
that it is running, when i do an alt-tab, it also tells me
it is running, but it isn't. it opens the startup box then
nothing happens, i've let it sit for over an hour, and it
still wont load.
anyone have any idea how to remedy this? i have a recent
backup of my .pst file with my email and my contact list.
will Eudora or another email program import from my .pst
if i decide to use a different email client?
i did a complete uninstall of office 2000 and outlook
2000, then a reinstall. same problem. wont show me my
email, but windows thinks it is running. this is my first
time on these newsgroups, so emailing me a reply would be
best.
any suggestions?
thanks
