Hello,
I'm using XP Pro and Office 2007 with BCM. I'm trying to set up a shared BCM
database to be used from both my desktop and laptop. I believe everything has
been done according to instructions but somehow I'm not able to give such a
password that the system would accept.
Remote user has been added (both from control panel and BCM) with temporary
password on "server" desktop with the same user name as the laptop has and
with the temporary password.
Finally when trying to connect from the laptop I end up in to situation
where local BCM claims that the password of the user account in desktop
machine differs from the local password. THough I'm pretty sure that at least
these passwords are being written in the same way.
Am I missing something here?
I have tested various ways and it seems that the desktop database can be
found since the error messages are different if I write wrong password on
purpose.
Can anyone help me or at least give guidance?
