Pasting problem

P

pcor

I am currently trying to copy information from a PUBLISHER document and
pasting it into Dreamweaver.
I hilight text in PUBLISHER, select COPY and then try to paste that data
into Dreamweaver, But nothing happens- the data does not show up.
But if I copy the data from Publisher to NOTEPAD and then copy from Note pad
to Dreamweaver all is well.
Does anyone have an explanation or a way to fix this problem.
I appreciate any help you can provide.
Thanks

That's the best way *to* do it, so you strip out all the junk formatting.

The way you are doing it! :::

Copy text from Pub, then paste into Notepad, then Copy text from Notepad,
paste into DW. This strips out the formatting so you can properly format
text in DW.

You posted the same post four times.

Ed,

I'm *sure* it is due to some SNAFU in a PC computer. Mac users *never*
have these problems.

Are you saying Sarah is a fourth generation hogwasher or the second
child of of a fourth generation hogwasher? I have trouble keeping up
with things some days.

LOL! Would I do a thing like that?

That's the User-Agent header in Sarah's messages - it was posted using that
application running on a Mac.

)

You're welcome.
You need to use commas though, as in reading this without - it sounds like
you are saying I wasn't helpful. Took me a few seconds to figure it out.

Pay no attention to Margollatta or whatever she's calling herself this
month...she's always like that.

Yay, we agree, write to the contact us at the bottom and let's boot her
monkey butt back to the UK where it belongs.

I got it the first time, no one like Marofartta, she is more annoying than a
8 day diaper rash on a baby mouse. You gave him the perfect advice. Because
had he copied to Word it still would have kept the formatting so Notepad was
the exact way to go. Never doubt your brains when they compare it to
Margolotta. That's like comparing Einstein to a cockroach.

Did you read the new international law that we can sue her and put her in
jail for posting false, insulting, and missleading remarks. I'm working on
getting her IP and Correct email address, got a network engineer working on
it. Class action lawsuit, you think?

You do know that MAC is an ancroynm for Morons Attempt Comprehension. LOL.
Who is Sarah is that Margofattalotta's real name?

LOL.

When written in all caps, yes, it is an acronym. Also one for Media Access
Control (as in the MAC address of your network card).

When written as a proper noun, however, it is an abbreviation of Macintosh
(or at least it originally was).
