pdf file margins bigger than publisher 2007 file

When I convert my Publisher 2007 file to PDF, the margins are wider than in
the Pub file. Why? And how do I get around this? I have used this same
template in the past, and when I've had it professionally printed, the
margins come out the way I want them, though there is some variation from
printer to printer.
