Hello, I am trying to save an Excel sheet as a PDF file but the edges keep getting cut off in the PDF. What can I do to make the PDF settings so that the edges aren't getting cut off? Thanks in advance!

You'll need to be far more descriptive of the problem - "edges keep
getting cut off" discloses absolutely nothing :) Please keep in mind that
nobody here can peer over your shoulder to see what you're referring to.

It would also be helpful if you'd provide complete OS X & Office version
numbers as well as confirming what process & software you're using to
generate the PDF.

I have the OS system that came with my laptop. It's brand new, so whatever the newest version is. The edges of my excel spread sheet get cut off when I make a PDF mean that the PDF doesn't display the entire excel sheet. I'm sorry, I don't know how else to describe it. I'm also working with the latest version of Office for mac. Hope this info helps! Thanks in advance for your time.

Is your "latest version" up to date? What version is it? Look in
Excel-About. What version of the OS? Look in the apple menu, about this Mac.
When you go to print, does the small image in the print dialog have the
edges cut off? What if you print it to a real printer, does it look OK?

Excel - About - Version 12.1.2 (080729)

Apple - About this Mac - version 10.5.4

When I print it says my excel sheet is 4 pages long, but on the 2nd, 3rd and 4th pages are just a horizontal line, a vertical line and a grey vertical line. I don't have a real printer, so I don't know if it would look ok. Hope this helps! Thanks for your time!

Then I don't understand what you meant in the op about your "edges keep
getting cut off" - it now sounds like everything you want printed is being
printed - not getting cut off - but that there is more being printed than
what you expect.

If that's the case, it sounds like you've accidentally applied Borders in
areas of the sheet that don't contain any data. Because of the formatting,
however, Excel thinks those cells are to be included in the job. You can
handle that in several different ways.

For a permanent solution, select the rows & columns that don't contain data
then go to Edit> Clear> All. Once Excel knows that there's nothing ther to
be printed it won't send those "extra pages" when you print.

If you need to retain the formatting but *not* print that range of cells,
select the range you *do* want to print and either;

1- go to File> Print Area> Set Print Area, or

2- when ready to print, select the range to be printed, go into the Print
dialog & choose the option Print What: Selection

If I'm still not understanding the circumstances you'll need to provide a
much clearer description of your content, its layout, what you expect, how
you're going about it & exactly what is happening contrary to your
expectations. Again, we can't read your mind or see what's going on :)

All I want is for those extra border lines to not be printed. I just want the one page, not 4, to print. I tried the Set Print Area thing and that didn't help. It's just odd that this doesn't work on my home laptop but it does at work.

The first sheet of the Excel workbook is all I want. There are images (logos) spanning the length of the sheet - one at the top and one at the bottom - going from left to right. There are 3 graphs and a text box in between those two logos. I want the PDF in one page to show the two logos and the stuff in between. I have made the logos, content, borders, all smaller so that they take up less space on the actual excel sheet, but that still isn't working. Is that enough detail? Man I hope so - lol. Thanks for working with me on this!
