PM unable to see team members Project tasks approvals

Hi All,

I have a PM that is unable to see project tasks that require his approval
via the web portal.

The primary project manager has gone on leave, so I have updated the project
in question and have set the Status Manager to the new PM (then saved and
published the project).

Team members have then updated their project tasks and submitted them for
approval.

The PM is receiving email updates notifying him that tasks are available for
approval, but when he clicks Approvals > Project Tasks (on web portal) the
Task Update Requests is empty.

Am I missing something, or is there something else that I need to complete ?

Many thanks,
Stephen.

Stephen --

This is an odd situation. Why, by chance, are you changing the Status
Manager value? What happens if the substitute PM opens the enterprise
project in Project Professional 2007, confirms that he/she is indeed the
Status Manager on every task, and then HE/SHE publishes the project instead
of you? I don't know if that will rectify the problem, but it is odd that
someone other than the substitute PM should do this process. Ask him/her to
do this, please, and report the results to us. Let us know.

Hi Dale,

Thanks for the quick reply.

Sorry for the confusion, I didn't really explain myself properly.

The PM did open the project in PP2007 (not me !) and he checked the Status
Manager on every task and saved and re published.

The same issue still continues.

Cheers,
Stephen.

When you say, "he checked the Status Manager" on every task, did he actually
select his OWN name in the Status Manager field? If so, then I have
absolutely no idea why this is not working. Sorry.

Hi Dale,

Thanks again for the reply. Yes, I have confirmed that that the PM did fill
all the tasks with his name in the Status Manager field.

Oh well, I will continue to look.

Thanks for the assistance.

Stephen.
