PPT Saved Date

I have a PPT file - It is an Org Chart with over 350 entries over 7 pages. I
have a footer with an updated date field. When individuals go to print it,
the date changes to the date they printed, not when it was last updated.

Is there a date field 'command' that will only change when I save the file
after an update?

Thanks,
Jerry

No ... you'd have to add a plain text box and update it manually.

In PowerPoint 2007, Insert ribbon, Data and Time. In the Header and Footer
window you can choose to update automatically or fixed.

I suspect a similiar choice is in prior versions.

Going back to PaleoPPTimes ... yep.

And while that won't automatically change to the last update date, it's still
a good idea, since it'll make it easier to make global date changes.
