Printer present Publisher can't see it in Print or Preview

I am a School IT Technician, we have MS Publisher 2003 which works well on
most of our XP Pro SP2 workstations. However, on one machine we can work on a
document but when it comes to printing or print preview the following message
comes up:

"To print or preview a publication at least one printer must be installed on
the system".

It is, several are installed and in Page Setup the printers are visible.

I have run detect and repair from the programme and repair from Add / Remove
Programmes. No change. Any suggestions please?

Thanks Mary,

Yes proper drivers installed and Service Packs bang up to date.

I thought that the problem had been solved by changing user permissions for
hte various printers. It certainly worked for one group of users who printed
succesfully on wednesday. However, another group of users worked on the
workstations yesterday and low and behold the problem was back so I'm pretty
sure it is not a driver problem.

The users were working in MS Word and when they selected print for two
different printers the page fed through but without capturing any print.
Getting them to save their work and then accessing it myself logged on with
Admin permissions I was able to succesfully print.

We have some 300 users and this problem only seems to effect currently about
20. That said, I had a teacher working on a workstation yesterday who was
experiencing an intermittent print box problem - some frames she was printing
off the WWW printed with the text she had inserted but a couple omitted the
text?
