Printing everything in Publisher

My printer is only printing the imported object and not the text. I cannot
seem to 'join' the 2 together before printing. Please can someone advise me
on what I'm doing wrong?

Usually it is the other way around, the text will print but not the objects.
Is your printer driver current?
