Printing Merge files

I am running Publisher in Office 2000 Premium. I have an address merge file. I've added addresses to it and only want to print off the new addresses. I've inserted a field with the #1 in it to the new address. How do I get just those new address to print onto labels? I've tried filtering but can't seem to get just the new addresses to print. Help!
