Problem with tasks assigned.

Hi All,

I have some problems with tasks assignment in Microsoft Project.

I had created a project in MS Project prof. in which I had added some
tasks. I had assigned the task to a resource whick is a employee. Then
I had published the project.

When that employee log on to Web Access it's home page shows that "You
have 1 new task assigned to you.", But when he go to 'My Tesks' it does
not show any tasks. thats why he cant report the progress.

Actually we are planing to impliment MS Project in our company and we
don't have much knowledge about it.

Please help us.

In the future, please post your Project Server 2007 questions in the
microsoft.public.project.server newsgroup, as this newsgroup is dedicated to
the Microsoft Project desktop application only. To answer your question,
ask the team member to try the following:

1. Log into PWA and navigate to the My Tasks page.
2. Click the Settings button on the toolbar and then click the View Options
item on the menu.
3. In the expanded View Options pane, deselect the "Show Only Current
Tasks" option.
4. Click the Apply button.

Does the new task now appear on the team member's My Tasks page? Let us
know.
