Do I need to reload Office to cure the above problem. Most of the time it is
a table created in Word on another computer. Unable to open on my computer.
We have a network in our office. I have also tried copying the file to a
disc, but that doesn't work either.

What version of Word do you have? What version of Word was used to
create the file you can't open?

Is this on a PC with Windows XP SP2? Windows has added a further security
check. Right click the document in windows explorer and select properties.
Unblock the security check if present.
