Published not rsponding when saving...

Trying to save my work, I click on the save icon and wait,
and wait, and wait...nothing.

Opening Task Manager shows two publisher applications
running...neither of which is responding.

I NEED HELP!!!

Firstly you don't say which version of Windows and Publisher you are using.

If you are on a network that situation is normal, as Publisher is not
network friendly.
All Publisher files need to be used on the local hard drive.
