publisher 95 to 98 opening or conversion

while I tried the suggestion recommended the files still would not open
I turned off Norton Anti virus and still received the error message that
publisher could not open files from a different version
any other suggestions?

What version Windows do you have? It could be a printer issue, Publisher saves all
printer information within each publication.

If you have Windows XP, turn off the printer spooler. Control panel, Administrative
tools, services, click print spooler, click stop.

If you don't have Windows XP, try opening the files in safe mode.

If all this fails, send the files to me and I will try converting them for you.
