PUBLISHER 98 HELP ..SAVE AS HTML Problem

T

Thomas Fries

I am using Publisher 98 on a windows xp machine and when
I design a web page and go to the file menu to Save As
HTML I get a message that states :There is no
corresponding HTML character set for the language
installed on your computer. Publisher will save your page
as Unicode UTC8. I am only using English as the language
installed on the machine and the web page is in English.
I have never had this difficulty before. I get a similar
error message when I do a website preview. How can I get
the necessary HTML Character Set? Thanks for any insight
you can give me.

It's not a problem. Your web page will be fine.

This is from my FAQ page (refers to v.2000) :

Q- Why am I getting the message "the files necessary to support the target
language you have selected cannot be found on your computer" ?
A- Most likely you have entered some sort of "symbol" on one of your web
pages. To support this and stop the message you need to change your language
setting. In version 2000 go to File, Web Properties, Site tab, "language"
and set it to Unicode UTF-8. In version 2002 go to Tools, Options, Web
Options button, Encoding tab, "save this publication as" and set it to
Unicode UTF-8.
