Question about compatibility

My company has a developer making a custom order entry/inventory system using access 2000. I've heard (don't know where) that access can get funny when using different versions (2000, 2002, 2003.) Is this true?

I'm a developer in a office where we use Office 2000,
Office XP, Access 2000 and Access XP and we have a lot of
little idiosyncratic problems that I've never encountered
anywhere else. I think it's because the versions so work
together but not 100% so you end up with little glitches
or errors in Access itself as well as databases created.

I'd try to use only one version and one OS if possible.

Hope this helpe!
