Question about using Office 2003/2007 on same machine.

Mike

I installed Office 2003 and Office 2007 on the same machine and chose "Keep
Existing versions" on the desktop on a laptop. Every time she reboots her
laptop and opens .docx file an Office configuration screen comes up with a
blue screen and has to do some configuring and then opens Word. Is this
normal behavior or is there a registry key that can be adjusted?

Word 2003 and the rest of the Office 2003 programs open fine.

Hi Mike,

You may find the information here, including the NoReReg registry setting to be helpful when running multiple office versions
together.
