Recovering lost email

I did a detect and repair through the actions tab in outlook. This
completely reinstalled my outlook and by doing so I lost all of my previous
emails. I honestly did not think it would work because I had tried it before
with no sucess. Is there any way to recover those lost emails?

OK so I did a more thorough search and found the information I was looking
for and successfully restored all of my emails.
