Resource Grouping

I am a production planner for a manufacturing company. I want to assign
tasks to each group and let the group leader decide which particular part of
the task should be handled by which employee.
Is there a way to group the resouces together so I can assign the task to
the group and find out the group's availability?

The only thing you can do is assign tasks to the resource managers and leave
them to re-assign. Set the Max Units for each resource to the total number
of tem members.
