Resource Pool Limitation

I need to see resource loading across 65 projects, but when I attempt to open
all project files and the resource pool file, I get a message that I can have
a maximum of 50 windows open. I am using MP 2003 professional stand-alone.

Is there a workaround for this problem?

Thanks very much.

Sperrier,
You don't have to open all sharer files to see resource loading in the
pool file. All you need to do is to open the pool file and use the
Resource Usage view.

Hi,

If you WANT to have all projects open, Open the pool with the thirs option
(... all sharer files...). That will open only 2 windows but th second one
contains all 65 projects.

I am aware that I can look at the pool file alone to see the loading and I
don't necessarily want to have all the projects open. Don't I have to open
all the project files and the pool file simultaneously so that the pool file
gets loaded with all the project resource demands?

Hi,

I wouldn't tell you how to do if it wouldn't work would I?
When you do as I say all the projects will be open with only 2 windows.
Just try it and you'll see.

Jan,

I'm sorry that I came across as appearing to doubt your advice; not my
intention. My followup question was intended to make sure I understood how
to load the resource pool.

I appreciate your counsel very much.

Regards,
