Howdy!
I have the server set up with the default CAL license
count only (will be changed once we are far enough into
implementation to have a solid value to increase it to).
During my free experimentation phase, I easily got all
standard Project tasks performed.
I have since populated the Enterprise Resource Table from
our Outlook Address Book.
Now, I can (as a PM) make all the resource assignments I
want, and the resources are notified that it has happened,
but when I use a CAL to log in as the resource, I am
unable to report any time against the recently added
tasks. I CAN still add time to the tasks assigned during
the experimentation phase.
Is the server doing this to me in an attempt to enforce
licensing issues (NOT an issue in reality, though the
server sees 900+ resources compared to the 15 licenses it
was purchased with), or am I missing a setting flag
somewhere, or what?
I'm looking for any and all reasonable ideas people can
provide me.
Thank you for your time
