Resource usage + and - on Resource Name (can this be customized?)

Can you force the system on Resource usage view to always open the resource
names with the plus meaning showing the resources rolled up when this view is
opened. It seems that the default is always - meaning all tasks are shown
for each resource under each resource name. We would like to always have all
the resource names rolled up so you just see the resoure names rolled up and
when you want to see the tasks for a specific resource you use the + to
expand.

Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Wendy,

In quick testing it appears if I collapse up the Resource Usage view to
show Resources but hide the assignments, save, close and reopen the file
it saves with the assignments hidden.

To quickly hide all assignments, select the Resource Name column (click
the column heading) and click the Hide Assignments button on the
formatting toolbar.
