retrieve previous clipbord text

when we copy or cut a text in the clipboard it erase the previous one. Is it
possible to retrieve the previous text in some way or another?

The nature of the Windows Clipboard is to hold one clip item only. As
of Office 2000 they added the Office Clipboard which will allow you to
collect multiple clip items.

do you mean starting win 2000 it is available. So I have win XP home is it
available to me and if so where is it ?now I have to go to work but will keep
in touch as soon as i come back. Thanks

No, what I stated was correct. The Office Clipboard was added as of
Word 2000 and it is part of Office 2000. If you are using Office 97
then the Office Clipboard is not available.

Windows still includes the clipbook viewer but there are
a number of 3rd party clip utilities that support multiple
items that you can download and that will work with
Word 97. Search on Google.com for example
for multi clipboard download
