running of office 2007

Every time I open Word, Excell or Power Point in Beta Office 2007 I get the
message "preparing to install" this message will show for 45 to 60 before
letting the program to open (new or otherwise). I have tried removing and
reloading the Beta but the same thing happens. I went to my System
Configuration Utility and to Services and unclicked Windows Installer and
they all start in a more reasonable time frame and the "Preparing to install"
will just pop up and disappear. I consider this a band aid fix because it
presents problem on downloads. How can I get a permanent fix of this problem?

This newsgroup is specifically for matters dealing with Microsoft Project.
I suggest you try to find a more appropriate newsgroup that deals with
Office problems.
